UPDATE: JAROMIR JAGR PRACTICED ON HIS OWN AND PART OF REGULAR SESSION WITH TEAM THURSDAY.
George Richards of the Miami Herald reported Wednesday that Jaromir Jagr may play over the weekend. This is encouraging!
Those upper leg muscle inflammations can be a short-term or long-term problem. Harvey Fialkov of the Sun Sentinel tweeted Jagr is getting treatments and is listed as day-to-day.
The Panthers are now 5-3-1 for 11 points. Extended over the 82 game season that translates to about 100 points. Florida is 17-10-2 since Jagr became a Panther at the trade deadline last season. This season the Panthers have scored 30 goals in nine games, for an average of 3.333 goals per game. Their 18 goals against is an average of two per game, tied for fourth in the NHL. Winning is fun and for these Panthers, it comes a lot easier with Jagr.
Hopefully with some more of this:
we’ll see this….
meaning we can make updates to this:
The news earlier this month that Jaromir Jagr created quite a buzz on Twitter and through the hockey world
The math is simple! 5 times as many people care about good hair than baseball. How’s it been going? Our friends at @cats0ntheprowl, in particular, mullet reporter @turbul3nt2, released an updated mullet tracker this week:
Viewed from behind, the hair is over the bottom edge of the helmet and covering top of the jersey neckline.
It’s a long season, so in addition to piling up wins, it’s nice to have statistical achievements and #MulletWatch20152016 to add some variety to the season.
Last week we shared a musical masterpiece from @Pittsburgh comedian @JimKrenn of @Q929, from Evgeny Malkin’s Diary. In case you missed it, here’s the video for “Mullet Back,” spoof of Sexy Back.

The next few days jagromter.com will be produced in Florida. Hoping to see Jagr is healthy enough to play so we can have nice updates. If not, the Florida Panthers are a fun team to watch since Jagr has imparted some of the finer points of offensive zone hockey to the young Panthers. Looking forward to seeing Jagr fans live at the BB&T Center for games against Boston Friday night and Washington Saturday night when the, oooh kids, very scary, Alexander Ovechkin and the high scoring Capitals come to town. Washington plays Boston Friday night at Verizon Center so neither team will have a rest advantage.

Off to Florida. Thanks for stopping by.
