(SUNRISE, FLA)–Vincent Trocheck’s second goal of the game was his first overtime winner as the Florida Panthers topped the New Jersey Devils 4-3 Thursday night at BB&T.

Jagr assisted on Trocheck’s first goal for his 1123 assist and 1873 career point. Jagr played in his 1640th career regular seson game and his now 6th all-time passing Dave Andrechyuk.
Jagr also was part of the scoring play that resulted in Aaron Ekblad’s second goal of the season on a power play sequence that saw all five Panthers touch the puck. In general the team looked like they listened to the coaches and hopefully the positive reinforcement of a win will be enough to start Florida on a run of overall improved hockey.
The Panthers play the Capitals at Washington Saturday night at Verizon Center. Limited tickets are available on the resale exchanges. The Panthers will host three games next week. Tickets for those games can be secured directly through the team at panthers.nhl.com.
After a few sluggish games, the Jagr-O-Meter finally had some updates. Here’s the latest edition, updated through Thursday night’s game vs. New Jersey.

Clad in different Jagr jerseys and hair styles from 68’s career, they gained league-wide recognition when they caught Jagr’s attention during a pre-game skate of a Dallas Stars game in Canada during the 2012-2013 season. Since then, they convene at games in Western Canada and make a road trip or two every year, playing street hockey with locals, posing for hundreds of pictures, and having a good time with fans while honoring an all-time NHL legend.
