SUNRISE–Jaromir Jagr has enjoyed a good run lately with a solid showing in Nashville for the NHL All-Star weekend, a quality birthday celebration, and scoring three goals in two games to become the third all-time leading goal scorer with 742 goals. But Jagr is not just hanging around chipping away at records. He’s the leading scorer on a first-place team and ranks among the best at his position this season.
NHL stars and present comment on JAGR2016…
In recognition of the passing Brett Hull and becoming third all-time in goal scoring, Jagr was named NHL player of the week.

Barkov joked that he hopes Jagr still has a few goals left for Thursday: “Jags just broke record, I hope he’s not going to stop right now.”
Through it all, Jagr remains appreciative of his teammates…
“You gotta have great teammates to pass you the puck… I’ve got 20 goals at age 44 because of them.” – Jagr
