It was newcomers doing most of the damage, with Colton Sceveiour collecting his first hat trick and Jonathon Marchessault collected his team leading sixth goal of the season. Over the last 100+ games of the Panthers recent history, a five goal effort would have the fingerprints of Jaromir Jagr and Aleksander Barkov all over it. Neither was credited with a shot in the Panthers win.
The Panthers host Boston Tuesday night at BB&T Center and play a game there Thursday vs. the New Jersey Devils. Their lone game of the weekend features a game with the Capitals in Washington. Seats for all Panthers games can be secured at panthers.nhl.com.
Jaromir Jagr looks to the comfortable home ice of the BB&T Center to ignite his normal point production.
The Jagr-O-Meter shows Jagr will tie Dave Andrechyuk for sixth all time in games played the next time he takes to the ice.
Let’s see what happens tonight as the legend continues….
