SUNRISE–Aleksander Barkov had a goal and an assist as the Florida Panthers ended a 1-1-2 week with a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks Saturday night at the BB&T Center.

Derek MacKenzie, Vincent Trocheck and Aaron Ekblad also scored for the Panther and Jaromir Jagr collected his 1883rd career point with an assist on the Ekblad goal. Jagr’s ninth assist and 15th point of the season see him less than a handful of points away from Mark Messier’s second-all time best career total of 1887 points.
