SUNRISE–The Calgary Flames visit the BB&T Center to play the Florida Panthers after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday night. The Panthers hope to catch a tired team and start a new winning streak after having their five game winning streak snapped in a 4-3 loss to Edmonton Wednesday in their first game home after a team all-time best five game road trip sweep.

Every game Jaromir Jagr brings four specially prepared sticks from the lockeroom for the pre-game skate and tries them all out before heading to the lockerroom to continue his pre-game preparation. Jagr won’t catch Wayne Gretzky for career points but he’s four points from  tying Gordie Howe’s record of 268 points recorded after age 40.
