Jagr tweets message about All Star game voting with special exchange from another legend. Panther prepare for Thursday’s game in Nashville.

Wednesday morning we linked to the nhl.com page for voting for the All-Star weekend Jan. 29-31 in Nashville. In the evening Jaromir Jagr  sent a message on twitter voting for him. Check out this exchange:

I vote you bud! You are not that old yet! And you are SO much smarter than this days kids anyway!!! Keep it rolling my friend!

:))) I do it for you, but if they decide, it’s not good and change it again in 2026 to play 2 on 2-i’m not going:) too old 54

The three-on-three overtime during the games is exciting and would like to see Jaromir get more opportunities in it during Florida Panthers games but understand the toll it would take on all players in an extended format as being conducted this year for the All-Star game.  Still, it was good to see the  voting in his favor for the first couple days.  Thanks to our man in Finland, Pyry Puustinen, for sending this along.

Boston lost in a shootout to Edmonton, while Tampa Bay beat Anaheim and Winnipeg beat Toronto Wednesday night in the only games involving Atlantic Divsision teams.

Atlantic Division Standings

Hope we can present a revised Jagr-O-Meter tomorrow.
