Jaromir Jagr couldn’t find a way to score against Tampa Bay’s Ben Bishop in Tuesday night’s game at Amalie Arena, so the Jagr-O-Meter remains largely unchanged as a result. The Panthers host the Washington Capitals with Alex Ovechkin Thursday at BB&T Center. Tickets in all price ranges can be secured at panthers.nhl.com.

Still want a Jagr bobblehead? Try ebay
The Jaromir Jagr bobblehead given away to fans at Saturday’s game with Detroit has been catching a lot of attention locally and nationally. Jagrometer.com will track the pricing for fans hoping to secure one using ebay.com as the most likely market.
Careful though, there are other bobbleheads other teams have issued in Jagr’s honor so make sure you are bidding on the Florida Panthers bobblehead.
How much are they selling for? Follow a recent auction and learn a little
Pricing has ranged from starting bid of $20-85 since Sunday and that goes for bidding at the lower end, and buy it now at the higher end. While we type this we are waiting to see how the bidding for one close out on one in auction for $33+$9.89 in shipping with 44 minutes left. You have to read each individual description to see the shipping cost, which has ranged from $5-89-$14.89. Some sellers offer the chance you to but shipping insurance.
How’s our auction going? With 23 minutes remaining the price is up to $39.00. On ebay you never know if you’re dealing with people playing ebay chicken–bidders running up the price but not really interested in buying or if you have a kook locked in one one particular auction when others for less money are also available.
No movement for the last 10 minutes. current price is $39 plus $10 shipping with 13 minutes remaining. When buying collectibles, beware of claims of scarcity. At least 15000 Panther bobbleheads are out there and possibly thousands more. A limited edition of 300 Penguins bobblehead with Jagr holding the Stanley Cup is a more legitimate scarce item. Even so, it’s only going for $34.95 on ebay.
Four minutes remain and a $39 bid is still holding firm. A lot of crazy things can happen in the last few minutes. We’ll go to a minute by minute countdown.
Still $39 at 3 minutes!!! Guessing you’re at the edge of your seat waiting to see how this turns out.
Two minutes, $39. This would be a good prop bet. Any more bids left for this one????
With 1:15 remaining we are up to $41.
$44 at 20 seconds!
Sold for $44 to an anonymous ebay buyer.
This item started at $9.99 on Sunday. A day later it was $15. Tuesday the first bid of the day pushed it to $22.00. Wednesday, bidding started at $27.51 then rose to $34 some 33 minutes before the end of the auction. Plus shipping adds another $9.89 to the final price.
That’s typical for how many auctions go on ebay.
And what’s the cause of all this activity?
