
SUNRISE–The Florida Panthers hope to have a Wild time at the expense of Minnesota when the two teams meet tonight at the BB&T Center. Recent practices have seen a shakeup of line combinations as the Cats try to pull the trigger on jump-starting their dormant offense, while not a powerhouse, an underperformed most of the season given the available talent.
Jaromir Jagr has struggled in recent weeks with more penalty minutes than points. For Jagr and other Panthers with expiring contracts, the coming weeks mean money as they are now playing for next year’s contract in Florida or elsewhere if the Panthers don’t make the playoffs.
