NEW YORK–The Florida Panthers visit the New York Rangers tonight and Jaromir Jagr will have some extra support in attendance as the Traveling Jagrs will attend the game as well as Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh. It will be the only USA appearance by the Alberta-based Canadian group of Jagr fans who have spent two springs in Sunrise since Jagr became a Panther two seasons ago.
The Panthers come off a 2-1 loss to Columbus Thursday after ending a five game losing streak with a 7-2 win over Toronto Tuesday night. Without a long run of wins their best accomplishment this season will be as spoiler and seeing which pending free agents and coaches fit into next year’s plans.
